Well, what English speaking household hasn't had a whisper relating to the Royal Wedding yesterday!? I don't think it's possible for there not to be one. Though I didn't rise early in the morning, I watched it yesterday afternoon online. I thouroughly enjoyed it. I though Kate Middleton looked beautiful. Prince William looked every bit a Prince in his dashing uniform. The ceremony was lovely, and of course extremely romantic in my opinion. No matter what one has to say about government or politics, the wedding was wonderful. I mean really, it's not everyday you get to see a prince get married! I also even enjoyed the sermon. What really stuck out of me was how thankful I was that this beautiful ceremony was televised. First, because it was exciting to watch, but also because I pray it will revive the holiness and sacredness God intended for marriage to be. In today's world marriage has become more a a burden and no longer "needed" part of relationships. I hope and pray that this wedding will remind the world why marriage is so wonderful and important. I truly pray Prince William and Princess Kate will have a loving, strong, marriage that will be an example to the world. God I pray you will bless them and keep them and remind them of their vows to eachother and you daily. Thanks for letting the world be a part of it.
Also, this Royal wedding made me crave for my own Royal wedding. Oh no, don't worry friends I'm not fanticizing about meeting and marrying a prince (well, maybe a tiny bit... I mean Sarah does mean "Princess" you know, and a girl can dream. lol). The wedding I am referring to is the Royal Wedding between Christ and His Bride, the church. I cannot wait till that day of joyous celebration. When we are finally united with our truest and deepest love. The one who gave His life so that I may live. That is going to be the most amazing day of my life. I know I will be at my best, I will be strong, beautiful, pure, and so in love when I finally see my Savior's face. True love waits does it not? Jesus, I am waiting longingly and excitedly for the day when I will be united with you FOREVER!
That is going to be my Royal Wedding. When my Prince truly will come for me. :D
...that makes me incandescently happy. Don't worry, you're all invited :D
Revelation 19:7-9
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
